About the book: Light upon Light, by Luce López-Baralt, is a luminous collection of poems born from an intense experience of spiritual revelation. In these verses, the poet seeks to give voice to a moment of transcendence in which the hidden structure of love underlying the universe suddenly becomes visible. Though López-Baralt acknowledges that language can only approximate such an experience, the poems attempt to capture the lingering fragrance of that encounter with the sacred. Through meditative imagery and contemplative rhythm, the collection evokes a space where mystical insight, love, and silence converge. Fragile yet radiant, the poems form a lyrical testament to the transformative power of spiritual awakening and to the enduring human desire to name what lies beyond words.
